Day
1 Bordeaux. July
17th
Today you will arrive at
the first hotel in the centre
of the city of Bordeaux,
one of the most important
cities due to its history,
economy and demography.
Located close to the train
station and not far from
the airport, the hotel is
easy to reach. In the afternoon
your guides will join you,
we will prepare the bicycles
and there will be time to
wander around this precious
and well conserved city.
At night, you can pick one
of the many restaurants
in the centre to enjoy what
is perhaps the most typical
dish of the city: Entrecôte
à la Bordelaise.

Day
2 Sarlat Le Caneda.
Explore
the enchanting and captivating
city of This morning we
will leave in the van and
drive towards St Emilion
to visit this beautiful
town which is famous for
the wine cellars of Bordeaux
wine that are to be found
here. From there we will
drive on to Bergerac, another
beautiful and historic town
from where we will start
our route by bicycle towards
the Dordogne river. We will
arrive at the most precious
area of the Dordogne region
while passing the gorgeous
towns Roque Gageac and the
castle of Domme. From there,
we will make our way by
bicycle to Sarlat.
In the evening, we will
enjoy dinner with the group
at our hotel. |

Day
3 Sarlat Le Caneda
Today
we will be riding between
the Rivers Vezere and
Dordoña, passing
Montignac and les Eyzies,
most famous for the caves
of Lascaux and the prehistoric
museum. Here we are in
one of the most important
archaeological prehistoric
sites of the Neanderthals
in Europe. We will pass
through precious medieval
cities, marvel at the
beautiful castles we pass
and see the many walnut
trees that dot the country
side. |

Day
4 Argelès-Gazost
Early
in the morning the van will
take us to Lourdes, about
350 kilometres by high way,
the famous place of Christian
pilgrimages due to the apparitions
of Mary and alleged miraculous
healings that took place
here. Halfway in the morning
we will hop on our bikes
to take on the mountain
pass of Soulor and Aubisque
to see this important stage
of the Tour. |

Day
5 Argelès-Gazost
Today
we will be taking it bit
slower, riding relaxed through
the surroundings of Argelès.
We recommend you to check
out the Luz Ardiden, a precious
climb with never-ending
swiching back curves, or
we can ride downwards towards
Lourdes. |

Day
6 Argelès-Gazost
Today we will be riding
in the valley before to
start climbing the mountain
pass of Tourmalet. There
we can await the riders
or we can ride down a little
to watch them from a place
where we’ll have a
more spectacular view. Without
a doubt, one of the stages
we’ll see today will
determine the outcome of
the
Tour de France |

Day
7 Bordeaux
We will take the van to
go and see the area of the
start of the stage in Pau.
After that, we will ride
in the region of Landas,
located at the sea side,
and we will be able to see
the end of today’s
stage in Bordeaux.
Bordeaux is beautiful these
days. The city has been
changed and now has an amazing
promenada along the river,
the buildings have been
renovated and if has a spectacular
night life. You get to spend
today’s afternoon
and dinner at your own leisure. |

Day
8 Bordeaux
On our last day it is time
to see the time-trial at
Medoc and at night we will
enjoy our last dinner with
the group. It is time to
share memories and pictures
while we talk about who
will win the Tour tomorrow. |

say goodbye and transfer
you to the train station
