Rental Agreement - General terms

1.- Use of the bicycle.
The renter accepts the bicycle in good condition, and commits himself/herself to return the bike in equally good condition, and to ride the bike respecting the rules and obligations outlined in Spain's laws, as well as committing himself/herself:
a) Not to adjust or manipulate the mechanical parts of the bicycle.
 b) To park the bike in a manner that is safe for pedestrians and in a place where theft is minimized (e.g. no dark alleys).
c) To return the bike to the Bike Centre or to the place previously agreed at the time and date indicated on the contract. Any alteration to this condition must be previously authorized by BIKE SPAIN TOURS. Failure to notify BIKE SPAIN TOURS will result in the renter being charged a late fee equivalent to the rental of the bike for the time over and above the contract.
d) To be responsible for any loss or damage to the equipment which, at all times, remains the exclusive property of BIKE SPAIN TOURS. The bikes do not carry any insurance coverage, if the equipment is lost, destroyed or damaged beyond repair in the judgement of BIKE SPAIN TOURS, the renter agrees to pay Bike Spain Tours up to 350 to replace the equipment. The replacement charge will be determined by Bike Spain Tours and charged to the credit card given at the time of the rental.

2.- Charges for use.
The renter agrees to pay for the rental of the bike and any additional fee that is applicable for any mistreatment of the bicycle. All payments shall be made by credit card.

3.- Repairs and Maintenance
In case of a breakdown, don't abandon the bicycle. You should contact us immediately to arrange for the exchange of a bicycle of equivalent or superior quality. All repairs needed as a result of the use of the equipment including all parts, shall be paid by the renter.

4.- Accidents
I agree that I will release BIKE SPAIN TOURS from any and all responsibility of liability for injuries or damages to the user of the equipment listed on this form or to any other person.

5.- Cancelations
If you cancel your reservation, you must notify us by e-mail or by fax. We will refund you the cost of the total reservation less the cancellation fee of 15.- EUR per bike.

6.- Transport

If you have recieved a bicycle by courier, you should check the bike before use and advise us immediately of any damage, by telephone, fax or email so we can resolve any issues as quickly as possible. We accept responsibility for repairing any defects or delivering a new bicycle, however we do not accept responsibility for the late delivery of bicycles caused by the courier company.

The bicycle will arrive in a cardboard box with one of the wheels detached and the handlebars twisted. The recipient should know how to assemble the bike correctly. At the conclusion of the rental period, the bicycle must be placed back in the cardboard box or wrapped in plastic film ready to be collected.

Release of Liability
I accept for use the equipment listed on this form and accept full responsibility for the care of this equipment. I hereby agree to freely and expressly assume and accept any risks and all injury to the user of this equipment while bicycling.
I hereby accept the terms of this contract. This document constitutes the final and entire agreement between BIKE SPAIN TOURS and the undersigned.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
- Do not leave the bike unattended for long time. Locks deter theft but they do not prevent all theft from happening.
- Lock the back wheel, frame and steel support under seats.
- Make sure to return the key with the lock when you're done with the bicycle.
