More than fifty-four million people visited
Spain in 2006, and not all of them came for
the beaches. If the idea of doing nothing but
sunbathing for a week makes you want to yawn,
check out our list below. We’ve assembled
a comprehensive list of fun, wild and crazy
things to take part in – on AND off the
bike.

tour on September 15th and enjoy

The America’s Cup is more
than a sailing regatta. It is a
duel, the response to a challenge
where there is no room for second
place. This is the spirit of the
world's oldest sporting trophy,
whose name refers to the boat that
achieved the first victory back
in 1851: the America. The competition
is divided into two parts, the Louis
Vuitton Cup and the America’s
Cup Match. In the first of these,
the challenger teams come head to
head. They have challenged the winner
of the previous edition, the current
defender of the cup. The winner
goes on to face the defender in
the exciting final trial. You can
witness it all in Valencia, Spain,
the host city for the 32nd America's
Cup, 2007.
