The bike parks in Paris
In addition, Paris will offer a rental service of 10,600 bikes from the 15th of June with the aim to increase the volume of traffic on 2 wheels. At the end of the year the city council of the French capital hopes to have over 20,000 bikes available to the people of Paris. The aim of the city council is to increase the number of urban bike paths within the year, from 150,000 to 300.000, 4% of the total.

London has a large battle ahead when it comes to cycling in the city. However in the last few years, there has been a greater move towards encouraging the use of bikes. Berlin has also created a bicycle campaign to promote its use. The network of bike paths in the city consists of 620 km. This transport medium is attracting more and more users in the German city.

Finally, we need to make mention of the city of Amsterdam, the city of excellence when it comes to biking. 75% of almost 750,000 residents have a bike and half of them use their bikes daily.

In Stockholm, 10% of the people living in the city use bicycles as a form of transport and in some cities in Holland this figure almost reaches 50%, while more than 30% of the Danish ride bikes daily.
